With over 10 years of experience with industrial and medical device corrosion testing, Electrochemical Evaluations expects to be a leader in the development and implementation of electrochemical procedures to benefit our clients.
Prior to the release of F2129, the corrosion testing experts at Electrochemical Evaluations were among the first to challenge ASTM’s F04 committee’s draft version of the document. With in-vitro experience of medical implant testing and as advocates for the utilization of proven industrial practices, we were instrumental in molding the 2001 version of F2129. Over the last 6 years, our director has continued to work with the F04 committee, other laboratories and the FDA on revising the standard to further remove ambiguity and homogenize its interpretation. With his help, the F2129 standard was changed in 2006 to reflect our and other laboratories’ work to improve the standard.
